The Symbol Trust funds children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, along with their families, to help fund and facilitate truly fulfilling lives.
Our Beginning
Established in 2001, The Symbol Trust raises money for vital activities that are unlikely to be funded by statutory commissioners. Working independently of Symbol UK and Symbol Family Support Services, The Symbol Trust aims to build on their reputation for innovative and responsive support to optimise quality of life within Kent and across the UK.
The Symbol Trust funds people with learning disabilities to maximise their life chances, gain skills, live as independently as possible, to truly participate in their local communities and fulfil their life dreams.
‘The Symbol Trust is a powerhouse for change! We believe anything is possible.’
— BARRY NAzIRI, Chair of Trustees

Get Involved
The Symbol Trust funds people with learning disabilities to maximise their life chances, gain skills, live as independently as possible, to truly participate in their local communities and fulfil their life dreams. None of this can be achieved without well planned and creative support.
The opportunities that The Symbol Trust creates vary enormously depending on the individuals that we work with, in line with their needs and aspirations.
